Description
The Peaks Cottage was designed for a beachfront or soundfront lot requiring an 8x8 timber
piling foundation. The parking area under the house is buffered by 4' earthen berms to provide a visual barrier and protection against flood conditions. The house could, however, be easily adapted for a standard crawl-space foundation.
"Rooms in the roof" and a cascading, sheltering roofline give this house a distinctive appearance.
